Symptoms

The task Configure IP address 2001:db8:f61:a1ff:0:0:0:80 (111 ) on host plesk01 (55) fails with the below output:

IP address #111 does not exist.

Cause

An end-customer enabled IP address for a WebHosting Plesk webspace, but the corresponding task Configure IP address xxx on host yyy failed for some reason. Right after that the customer deleted the IP address from the CCP, so further attempts to restart the task Configure IP address xxx on host yyy fail with the error IP address #xxx does not exist.

The failed task also blocks all subsequent tasks to configure/unconfigure IP addresses on the same host.

The possibility to delete an IP address in the provisioning state was acknowleged as a software issue #WHM-10371.

The fact, that the failed task blocks all further IP address provisioning operations on the same host, was recognized as a software issue #POA-114260.

Resolution

Please contact your Technical Account Manager in order to track the status of the issues.

In order to unblock the IP address provisioning operations on the host, cancel the failed task Configure IP address xxx on host yyy:

  1. Go to OA > Operations > Tasks
  2. Click the task Configure IP address xxx on host yyy failed with IP address #xxx does not exist
  3. Click Cancel Task and confirm.

Important: do not click the Cancel Tasks Tree button - this will cancel all further awaiting provisioning tasks initiated by other clients.
