Symptoms
In is not possible to oder a VE using recently published 'Virtual Private Server' scenario in BA online store: VPS parameters screen does not finish loading, spinning animation is shown.
In browser console the following error is displayed:
Sample not found in APS resources
On Network tab of Dev tools one could see that the following request returned an empty array:
GET /aps/2/resources/79b23547-23c4-484c-b108-a73e595d6e00/limits
Where 79b23547-23c4-484c-b108-a73e595d6e00 is APS resource of target service template.
Cause
Incorrect configuration of purchase scenario for PAYG billing model. VPS (Virtual Private Server) scenario and in particular - 'Choose Virtual Server' screen could be used only for VPS resource model. Processing of this screen expects VPS APS resources in service template, which are absent in OACI Cloud Infrastructure (PAYG) service templates.
Resolution
For OACI PAYG it is required to use 'Cloud Computing' screen since it contains handlers necessary for this set of resources as it described in documentation.
Please add target service plan to correct sales categories and configure purchase scenario to include 'Cloud Computing' screen.
