Symptoms
When trying to buy Office 365 Extra File Storage with the limit higher than 2047 GB, there are no changes in Microsoft Online Portal. The following message appears in the Office 365 sitelog:
ERROR aps_endpoint: SubscriptionsController.OnSubscriptionChanged finished by exception Newtonsoft.Json.JsonReaderException: JSON integer 2306867200 is too large or small for an Int32. Path '[3].limit', line 1, position 715.
In addition, this limit of the file storage blocks further changes for license limits on the same subscription. For example, if the file storage limit is higher than 2046GB, it is impossible to change license limit of the parent subscription: new limits are applied in OA, but not propagated to Microsoft cloud.
Cause
Such behavior was acknowledged as a software-related issue APSA-18987.
Resolution
The issue was fixed in the Office 365 17.2 package. It is recommended to update the Office 365 APS package to the last available version.
To work around the issue, please set the limit of the file storage on the OA side less then 2047 Gb.
