Symptoms

During autoconf.py execution, in the "CREATE SERVICE PLANS" section the following error appears:

KeyError: 'PlanID'

Cause

Software-related issue APSA-17145 which was fixed in Office 17.3 version.

Resolution

  1. Check the version of Office365Deployment Assistant.
  2. Download the latest file of the CSP Deployment Assistant tool from CSP Deployment Assistant tool to your workstation:
    • Office365DeploymentAssistant.x.x.x.xlsx for Microsoft Cloud;
    • Office365DeploymentAssistant.DE.x.x.x.xlsx for Microsoft Cloud Germany;
    • Office365DeploymentAssistant.CN.x.x.x.xlsx for Office 365 operated by 21Vianet in China.

  3. Continue the Automated Procedure to configure offers automatically according to the following Office 365 Deployment Guide Article: Office 365 Deployment Guide

  4. Check that CustomSalesCategory.json and CustomResourceCategory.json have not empty descriptions.
