Symptoms
On Exchange CAS server deployment, after installing Exchange2013Autodiscover package, Dump domains in Autodiscover configuration task fails with a timeout after 30 minutes. The task output is:
SOAP Error: Client, End of file or no input: Operation interrupted or timed out (1800 s recv delay) (1800 s send delay)
The Exchange domain contains a huge amount of mailboxes (>20000).
Cause
The default system timeouts are not enough to process the Autodiscover automatic configuration task. The issue is planned to be improved in scope of internal request POA-113139.
Resolution
Manually copy C:\Program Files (x86)\SWsoft\PEM\WebSites\AutodiscoverRedirect\Autodiscover\AutodiscoverRedirect.config to the new CAS node from any of the old CAS servers.
Cancel the failed Dump domains in Autodiscover configuration task without canceling the task tree.
