Upgrade Load Balancer

Requirements and Prerequisites

  • You need to configure a new RHEL 6-based node for the load balancer.
  • You can find the requirements for the load balancer in the article.

Upgrade

  1. Configure and switch the load balancer as described in the article.
  2. Check that scheduled LVS configuration tasks in OA Tasks were completed without errors.
  3. Remove the old load balancer from the cluster.

Upgrade Director and Web Nodes

Requirements and Prerequisites

  • For each RHEL 5 web node or director in your cluster, you need to configure a new RHEL 6-based node.
  • You can find the requirements for new nodes in the article.

Upgrade

  1. Configure new director web node and other web nodes as described in the article.
  2. Delete the old the old director web node and other web nodes on RHEL 5 from the cluster.

Upgrade NFS File Storage

Requirements and Prerequisites

  • You can use any RHEL-based system with NFS support if you need to migrate a file storage server to a new node.
  • You can find the requirements for the NFS file storage server in the article.

Upgrade

  1. Add a new file storage server to the cluster as described in the article.

  2. Migrate all webspaces from the old file storage to the new file storage. You can learn how to migrate webspaces between file storage servers in the article.
  3. Delete the old NFS file storage server from your cluster configuration
