Symptoms
It is possible in CCPv2
to add a DNS record that doesn't have TLD part and ends with a . (dot):
Record Type : A
IPv4 Address : use any address (100.100.100.100)
Host : testing.
TTL : 3600
"Host" part ends with "." (dot) in the example above.
CCPv1
does not allow to add such records.
Cause
Software - related issue #POA-111873: "CCPv2: possible to add a DNS record with host part ending with dot".
Resolution
Contact pta@odin.com or TAM to trace the status of the issue.
