Office 365: autoconf.py script does not check "Autorenewal" Service Plan property value.

Symptoms

Office 365 autoconf.py script ( Configuring Offers article ) with --pba-stub-plan-id option specified does not determine the Renew Point (days) value.

For instance here are settings from "template" Service Plan:

Billing Terms

Billing Model  Charge Before Billing Period
Billing Period  Monthly
Set Recurring Prices per  Billing Period
Auto-Renewal  26 day(s) before Expiration Date

But autoconf.py script creates Service Plans with:

Billing Terms

Billing Model  Charge Before Billing Period
Billing Period  Monthly
Set Recurring Prices per  Billing Period
Auto-Renewal  3 day(s) before Expiration Date

i.e. default value of 3 days.

Cause

There is no public BA API method to determine the Auto-Renewal property value. While autoconf.py is using the only public methods it is not possible currently.

Feature Request #PBA-71658: "Add APS API methods for ServicePlan" has been addressed to Development team.

Resolution

Contact Odin Technical Support to clarify if this feature is implemented.
