Question
Customer has a credit card that has status "Disabled". However he receives notifications about this credit card expiration. Is it possible to send such notifications for credit cards having certain statuses?
Answer
According to the official documentation the following conditions can be used to send Notifications about a Credit Card expiration:
- All Credit Cards: expiration notifications will be sent for all Credit Cards that are stored in Business Automation database
- Only Credit Cards not used as default: customers will receive notifications about all their Credit Cards except the default one
- Only Credit Cards used as default: only Credit Card that is used for automatic payments will be monitored for expiration
OA Billing does not check the status of Credit Card to determine if it necessary to send an expiration notification.
Feature Request #PBA-68102 was submitted to the Development Team to add the possibility to send expiration notifications for Credit Cards having some certain status. Such functionality will be added in one of the future versions of our product.
