Symptoms

OA 6.0 RHEL5 to RHEL6 Migration Precheck on the source management node fails with the following message (missing package can be different):

# /usr/local/pem/bin/backup.sh -t mn-migration-precheck
2017-03-10 19:12:09.960 ERROR There are missed required packages in PPM repository.
2017-03-10 19:12:09.960  INFO Please add next packages into ppm repository before migration
2017-03-10 19:12:09.960  INFO     sc-RHEL-6-i686-CLM
2017-03-10 19:12:09.964 ERROR Check is failed

Cause

Correct migration requires source node having PPM packages for destination node's OS i686-RHEL-6.

Resolution

  1. Try to locate required package on the source MN:

    # locate RHEL-6-i686-CLM
/root/sc-RHEL-6-i686-CLM-6.0.8.15.pdl.asc
  2. Download this package file from the server and add it manually to the list of available packages in OA Provider Control Panel at "Infrastructure > Package Repository > Packages".
