Symptoms
The Upgrading resources of application task does not proceed with execution after its start.
There is no task activity observed in /var/log/pa/core.log on the Management node.
At the same time the Synchronize resource usage for instances of APS applications periodic task is running.
Cause
APS resource usage calculation process blocks all other operations with application instances, which leads to delays processing other APS application tasks.
This behavior is considered as a software issue POA-107476.
Resolution
To avoid the issue, change Synchronize resource usage task execution period, making sure the task does not run at the moment of an application upgrade.
Contact your Technical Account Manager or a member of Pooled Technical Associates Team to check the status of the issue and obtain a constant fix.
