Symptoms

A Sales Order fails with error below:

Service Creation Failed: Odin Automation service was not created. Unable to bind Domain: Parallels Operations Automation error #error_code #0, extype_id #59, module_id #APSManager, Service of type http://www.parallels.com/infrastructure/virtual-environment/2.0 is not found in subscription

The SO is intended to create a new subscription with the domain, already existing in the system and bound to some other hosting. For example, the domain is bound to DNS Hosting resource in OACI subscription, and the new one provides web hosting under the same domain.

Cause

The behavior is confirmed to be a product issue with ID APS-41356: Unable to bind domain if aps_defaults exist in DNS hosting subscription

Resolution

In order to complete the order:

Login to CCP under the affected account.
Go to Hosted Domains > domain name > DNS.
Press Switch DNS Hosting to external button.
Switch DNS hosting back to internal and select the new subscription getting provisioned.
