Symptoms

  1. The periodic task "Report usage data" fails with the following error:

    Error: SSL certificate problem, verify that the CA cert is OK. Details:
error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed(60)

  2. The log (/var/log/poa.log) demonstrates the report is being published to https://legacy.report.odin.com/post:

    Oct 20 12:54:36 linmn01 : INF [task:32:209215 1:23648:f39e7b90 Statistics ]: [ Statistics::UsageDataReporter_impl::taskReport] Publishing usage report to https://legacy.report.odin.com/post

Cause

Since the OA 6.0.7, OA should send reports to https://report.odin.com/post.

OA uses the following certificate for communications:

/usr/local/pem/etc/certs/ParallelsKeyholder.crt

but portal https://legacy.report.odin.com/post does not accept it and task fails.

Contact Odin Technical Support to resolve the case.
