Symptoms
Task 'Provisioning "PACIVirtualEnvironment" for APS application Cloud Infrastructure' fails with:
Cannot find suitable hardware node
The corresponding task screen in Task Manager > Cloud Infrastructure Log shows that all resources for a particular node are available.
Cause
Virtuozzo hardware node license does not allow creating a new Virtual Environment:
[root@vz ~]# vzlicview | egrep 'ct_total|nr_vms|servers_total'
ct_total=6 (0)
nr_vms="combined" (5)
servers_total=6 (5)
Resolution
The following solutions are possible:
- Offload a VE from the node
- Adjust Virtuozzo license limit to allow more VEs
- Make sure some other node in the same location is able to host a new VE
