Question
In OA versions 5.4 and older it was possible to modify folder permissions via File Manager for FTP users on Windows Shared Hosting. However, since OA 5.5 it is not possible. How can we safely modify FTP user on Windows Shared hosting subscription so that it will only have access to specific folders?
When creating new FTP user on Linux Shared Hosting subscription it is possible to specify that user's directory.
Answer
Currently it can only be done manually, by setting all the required permissions either through OA File manager or directly on the server where the webspace is located. A feature request with ID POA-88686 was submitted to implement this functionality in future versions of OA. Please contact your TAM or PTA to trace the status of the feature request.
