Symptoms
I am getting an error message trying to remove web server from Web Cluster in Infrastrcutre > Hardware Nodes > Web Clusters > Cluster ID > Manage Web Servers:
Director <IP>(ID) cannot be deleted from web cluster xxx. Switch it before deletion
Cause
OA does not remove records about nodes from the table apache_h2e_nodes related to previous cluster deployment attempts and most likely such node exists in that table as Directory of another cluster_id. The issue has been reported to the development team as a bug POA-80317 and fixed in version OA 6.0 and above.
Resolution
Please contact Odin technical support for a workaround.
