Symptoms

Changing a password for MySQL user of a database related to an APS application causes the following error:

Error: Error: There is no such database user, user_id=<USER_ID>.

Cause

Changing the MySQL database user password in OA CCP causes an attempt to un-provision the APS application in order to update the password in the APS application config file. This attempt fails. For example for Wordpress application such config file is called wp-config.php . The file contains information about MySQL database, user and password.

Resolution

For now changing a password for APS application database users is not possible. Internal request APS-17886 has been submitted to change this behavior in future. Please contact your Account Manager or pta@odin.com to trace the status of the issue.
