Symptoms
Task "Plesk in VPS : configure zones for 'example.tld'" fails with "protocol misconfiguration" error. For example:

License on Plesk side is correct, therefore KB#113939 is not applicable. A task, that was supposed to add this domain, appears to be successful but has the following error in output:

Task name Plesk in VPS 1783: register domain
https://<IP>:8443/enterprise/control/agent.php return error 1007 : Domain adding was failed. Error: This alias already exists.
In Plesk the domain is present as a domain alias.
Cause
OA does not support domain aliases in Plesk. Feature request #POA-67040 has been created to implement this feature.
Resolution
If it is required to manage the domain from OA, please do the following:
- Remove the domain alias from Plesk,
- Cancel the failed task "Plesk in VPS: configure zones for example.tld",
- Click on "Resubmit domain to Plesk" button for this domain in OA CCP. OA will add this domain to Plesk as domain with no hosting. Hosting can be assigned and managed from Plesk.
If it is required to keep using the domain alias in Plesk, the following is suggested:
- Cancel this task and either ignore error that will be shown for this domain in OA CCP or remove domain from OA CCP completely and manage it by Plesk means.
