How to avoid Billing order from being generated?
Resolution
You can change the service plan and set option 'Charge for Subscription' to 'Before Subscription Period', the will be no billing order generated at all for the subscription because recurring fee already included on the Sales Order and upcoming Renewal Order.
Please note: that it will be not possible to change option 'Charge for Subscription' between pre-paid and post-paid models if service plan has subscriptions (no matter what status they have) #117321
Another option is to set up the 'recurring fee' = 0 and configure the 'shown zero price' = 'No' for recurring fee on the subscription period of the service plan.
