Symptoms
Provider wants to configure a trial period for the PACI subscription. However PACI model requires some pre-payment to be available in order for subscription to run.
The desired configuration is that some credit memo is created automatically by system when customer buys trial subscription.
Customer may use PACI service until trial period is ended or until the cost of consumed PACI resources exceeded credit memo issue earlier. After that customer will be given an option to upgrade to a paid service.
Resolution
Feature request has been issued with ID PBA-59691 to implement such functionality.
As a workaround provider needs to issue a credit memo to the customer manually.
