Symptoms
Order for domain transfer is in the status Provisioning, Long Running Operation for a long time or Provisioning Failed.
In the subscription Service Status History tab the first or both records are present:
Checked status of transfer in registrar. It is in progress.Domain status:Checking Transfer Status. Status "Processing. Auto verification of transfer request initiated"<XX time(s) called.>
Domain transfer to receiving registrar failed. Domain operation in Registrar failed: error no: 0 error text: Status "Order complete. Canceled - domain contacts did not respond to verification e-mail" Domain status:Prepared.
Cause
As a part of a transfer process a verification e-mail is sent to the registrant or admin contact of the current domain owner. The message "Auto verification of transfer request initiated" means an e-mail was sent but was not yet verified.
Resolution
Have the domain owner at the losing registrar check their email (including their spam folder) for the verification email, and approve the transfer.
