Symptoms
A variety of Exchange tasks such as
- "Collect diskspace usage for service",
- "Perform Edge Sync for domain",
- "Create mailbox",
- "Updating addresses of mailbox",
- "Unregister accepted domains" and so on
fail with an error:
Last execution output Provisioning request failed. Login failed. The login is from an untrusted domain and cannot be used with Windows authentication.
Type: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException.
Cause
POA agent on the node lost connection to the AD domain.
Resolution
Restart POA agent on the node in question:
> net stop pem
> net start pem
