Symptoms

  • Attempt to destroy a subscription with IIS hosting and a site application (WordPress, Joomla, Drupalfails, etc) fails:

    Destroying service of Subscription #<sub_id> failed: Parallels Operations Automation error #extype_id #173, module_id #IIS, Not all operations for site '<d1001234-346.site.domain.com>(domain_service<ID>)' are finished. Please wait until all related tasks are finished and try again.
    
  • There is a failed event in PBA:

Cause

This is expected behavior in case there are unprocessed tasks (either in failed or running statuses) for the mentioned domain_service<ID>.

In case there are no tasks present, and there the subscription includes a siteapp, then it fails to be destroyed due to POA-82063.

For OA 7.x platform: End-of-life of Windows Shared Hosting has been announced as per KB article - thus such issues are not planned to be fixed. Please apply workaround for each particular case - resubmit failed Cancellation Order - and consider further WSH migration.

Resolution

Please upgrade to the latest version of Odin Automation, where this issue has been fixed.

For OA 7.x platform: Apply workaround for each particular case - resubmit failed Cancellation Order - and consider further WSH migration.

To destroy the subscription before update installation - enable it (e.g. with pem.enableSubscription), remove site application from the susbcription, click "Destroy" button in PBA/resubmit failed event.
