Symptoms
An on-line store cannot be installed on Windows 2008 server, an error is returned on running the .msi package:
There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A script required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor.
An event viewer shows more detailed error:

Cause
Insufficient current user permissions.
Resolution
Run the installation package from the command line open with administrator privileges (cmd.exe -> right-click -> Run as administrator).
