Symptoms
I'm trying to change Hosting Plan for PA subscription in PBA-S. The order (“Order on PA”) fails with following error:
[Error::throw] subscription upgrading failed: failure response: status: -1, module_id: ResourceManagement, extype_id: 221, error_message: Subscription #130 has no resource type #1000216.
or

Cause
Source and destination Hosting Plans are based on different PA Service Templates:
Top > Billing Director > Product Manager > Hosting Plans > %PA plan_name% > PA Settings
It's by design that PBA-S 4.5 does not allow changing hosting plan for PA subscription if the source and destination hosting plans are based on different PA Service Templates.
Resolution
Avoid changing Hosting Plans for PBA-S subscriptions if they are based on different PA Service Templates.
Use the following schema for changing resources of PA subscription in PBA-S:
- change resources in PA Service Templates directly;
- update PBA-S Hosting Plan (edit and save without any changes);
- synchronize PBA-S subscriptions with the latest version of the Hosting Plan.
