When enabling the 'Parallels Plesk Panel' web hosting for a domain in the POA Customer Control Panel the following message is displayed:
You are ready to provide Parallels Plesk Panel hosting. Mail hosting will be set to 'Parallels Plesk Panel' too.
Is it possible to configure 'Parallels Plesk Panel' as a web hosting and Exchange or qmail as a mail hosting service for a single domain at the same time (e.g. using web and mail hosting resources from different subscriptions).
Answer
There is no such ability in the current POA implementation.
Enabling the 'Parallels Plesk Panel' as a web hosting service for a domain, POA delegates the control of the domain to Plesk Panel (Plesk acts as the master DNS server for the domain zone in this case) and forces the domain to use Plesk mail hosting as well.
The required functionality is going to be added in the future versions of the product in scope of the request POA-81722.
