Symptoms

  • PBA-E version 5.5.0

  • Store synchronization fails:

    Synchronization failed with error: Error while transmission of the config.ini body. [../stlrt/type/string.cpp:25] operation with NULL string value

Cause

The store description is empty.

Resolution

Fill in the store description:

  1. Home> Products>
Online Store

    Switch Store button

  2. Choose current store
  3. Fill in Description

The field is not marked as obligatory, but in PBA-E 5.5.0 synchronization will not complete successfully without it being filled. The behavior is corrected in PBA-E 5.4.1, since that update it is possible to synchronize the stores with empty description.
