Office 365 application stuck in 'Waiting for the default subdomain to be specified' status

Symptoms

Status of the Office 365 application in POA Customer Control Panel is shown as 'Waiting for the default subdomain to be specified'.

The following entry is present in the MOSI gateway site log:

2013-08-28 12:57:24,309 [  21] DEBUG flow : Subdomain was not specified, the customer account was not created. Wait until subdomain will be specified

Customer's domain delegated to the Microsoft Office 365 Cloud is incorrect and cannot be validated by Microsoft domain verification procedure.

Check the 'Office 365 Base Domain' activation parameter of the Office 365 resource type based on the Application resource class, make sure that it is set to onmicrosoft.com.
Compare it against the customer's domain delegated to Microsoft.

Example of wrong domain: domain.onmmicrosoft.com

Example of correct domain: domain.onmicrosoft.com
Delete the wrong domain name in Customer Control Panel and add the correct domain name.
Click 'Edit' in Office 365 application settings in Customer CP and re-submit it. The necessary tasks will be generated in POA and the application will be installed properly.
