Symptoms
A customer imported existing Exchange public folder in POA, however, they are not visible in Customer Control Panel and corresponding POA background task 'Actualize list of public folders for organization' fails with the error message like provided below:
Public folder '/P001000101/Reports/Finance.' has invalid name
Public folder '/P001000101/Reports/Finance / Sales' has invalid name
Resolution
Correct the name of the problem public folder using native Exchange tools: - Outlook - Outlook Web Access - Exchange Management Shell - Exchange Management Console
Then resubmit the failed task in POA.
Cause
The public folder mentioned in the failed POA task has illegal name: - It ends with the '.' (dot) sign - It contains '/' (slash) character - It ends with ' ' (space) character
