Symptoms

OA task Register domains (<domain name>) in Autodiscover for service XXX fails with the error message below:

Provisioning request failed. Error in 'SW Managed Exchange.RegisterDomainsInAutodiscoverRedirect'. Exception calling "Execute" with "3" argument(s): "Arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow."

Cause

OA Agent or IIS on WPE (Windows Provisioning Engine) host malfunction.

Resolution

Try recycling/restarting the IIS application pool serving WPE website (it is typically called Windows Provisioning Engine Pool) using IIS Manager and resubmitting the failed task in OA Task Manager. If it does not help, restart services on WPE host via command line:

  1. OA agent:

    net stop pem
net start pem

  2. IIS:

    iisreset
