Additional Information

Starting from PA Office 365 Integration 3.0, the ability to synchronize Office 365 users from the Microsoft Online Service Portal to PA is supported. The synchronization is performed with the help of the synchronization script, which is included into the Office 365 Application package.

To obtain the detailed information about the synchronization script, refer to the PA Office 365 Integration Guide >> Finalizing Office 365 Application Deployment > Synchronizing Changes Applied in Microsoft Online Services Portal to PA (http://download.pa.parallels.com/poa/).

Manual actions are required in the following cases:

Office 365 User with Assigned Services Is Removed Through Microsoft Online Services Portal OR All Services Are Unassigned from Office 365 User Through Microsoft Online Services Portal

In this case you must log in to PA Customer Control Panel and revoke Office 365 services from the appropriate Service User:

  1. Select the required Office 365 subscription.
  2. Go to Office 365 tab > Services subtab. The list of the Service Users that have the access to Office 365 services is displayed.
  3. In the list, select the checkbox opposite the required Service User.
  4. Click Remove and confirm the operation.

Note: Starting from PA Office 365 Integration 3.1, this case is automated and the actions listed above are performed by PA.

Subscription of Office 365 User Is Switched from One Offer to Another One Through Microsoft Online Services Portal

In this case you must log in to PA Customer Control Panel and apply the offer change for the appropriate Service User:

  1. Select the required Office 365 subscription.
  2. Go to Office 365 tab > Services subtab. The list of the Service Users that have the access to Office 365 services is displayed.
  3. In the list, click on the required Service User.
  4. Click Change options.
  5. In the Type drop-down list, select the required set of Office 365 services.
  6. Select whether the Administrative Access is enabled for the Service User (Yes/No).
  7. Click Next.
  8. In the Usage Location drop-down list, select a location of the Service User. Then, click Next.
  9. Validate the specified properties and click Finish.

Administrative Access to Office 365 Services Is Revoked from Office 365 User

In this case you must log in to PA Customer Control Panel and revoke the Administrative Access to Office 365 services from the appropriate Service User:

  1. Select the required Office 365 subscription.
  2. Go to Office 365 tab > Services subtab. The list of the Service Users that have the access to Office 365 services is displayed.
  3. In the list, click on the required Service User.
  4. In the Options area, click the 'Manage' link.
  5. Click Deactivate and confirm the operation.

Login Name of Office 365 User Is Changed Through Microsoft Online Services Portal

In this case the new Service User having the new login name and the same Office 365 services is created in PA and you must revoke Office 365 services from the Service User having the old login name:

  1. Log in to PA Customer Control Panel
  2. Select the required Office 365 subscription.
  3. Go to Office 365 tab > Services subtab. The list of the Service Users that have the access to Office 365 services is displayed.
  4. In the list, select the checkbox opposite the Service User having the old login name.
  5. Click Remove and confirm the operation.
