Symptoms

The subscription name is absent (or changed) in PBA Customer Control Panel after upgrading from 5.1 to 5.4.

Cause

Subscription naming was changed in PBA 5.4.

In PBA 5.1, Customer Control Panel contained two columns:

  • Subscription Name - Contained linked domain name or was empty if no domains were linked with the subscription
  • Plan - Always contained name of the Service Plan the subscription was based on The following picture demonstrates how the subscription list looked in Customer Control Panel in PBA 5.1:

Since PBA 5.4, the following changes have been made:

  • The Plan column has been dropped from the list of subscriptions
  • The Subscription Name column now shows the exact Service Plan name and linked domain name, if applicable The following picture demonstrates how the subscription list looks in Customer Control Panel in PBA 5.4 (no Plan column):

Thus, the Subscription Name column may be absent in PBA CCP due to customization. If the Subscription Name column was hidden in PBA 5.1, then after upgrading to 5.4, PBA CCP will no longer show any subscription name.

Resolution

Adjust customization to take PBA 5.4 specifics into account (or just remove it to show the default subscription name).
