Symptoms
User creation for the BackupAgent APS application is hanging in the status Provisioning.
In the POA Task Manager, you can find the failed task:
Task name APS application 'BackupAgent', id 101, instance 101 -> service 'account', instance 1436: executing configuration script
Last execution output Execution of configuration script for service instance with id 1436 of instance with id 540 of application with id 101 failed - returned value: -1 output: 'Failed to create BA user user@domain.tld for subscription 1000001: Server was unable to process request. ---> BAWS005001 :: Error validating strings.

Cause
An empty value for the parameter SETTINGS_group_login is passed to the task. This problem was discovered in the BackupAgent APS application 1.0-10.14.
Resolution
Upgrade the BackupAgent APS application to the latest available version in the APS Catalog:
- Navigate to POA Provider CP > Service Director > Application Manager > APS Catalog
- Search for "BackupAgent" in "Application field,
- Select BackupAgent in the search result, click "Import Packages".
You may cancel the failed "executing configuration script" task, but allow "finalizing" task to proceed, then locate the problem instance in POA Provider CP > Service Director > Application Manager > Applications > BackupAgent and upgrade it.
