Customer has subscription with Qmail and Open-Xchange services. Customer logged into POA control panel, added domain registered elsewhere and tried to create Qmail mailbox with Open-Xchange webmail.

On the last step of mailbox creation wizard customer see error message which does not allow them to proceed further:
 Mailname creation result
Mailname creation failed: Service 'E-mail (mailbox)' is required for service 'Open-Xchange'.

The probable reason of problem is that domain has registrar status 'Undefined' in POA. POA does not create Qmail mailboxes on the domain which has registrar status 'Undefined', thus POA cannot provide Open-Xchange for such mailbox since it is not created in full.

Provider has to set registrar status for the domain in question to 'Ready':
  1. Log into POA Provider Control Panel
  2. Go to Top > Operations Director > DNS Manager > Domains
  3. Find customer's domain and check box left to it
  4. Click the button 'Set Registrar Status to Ready'
