Parallels Helm 4.1.x, 4.2.x

After upgrading Parallels Helm 4 to a new version, some domains show duplicate icons on the Home screen. Also, some services (typically IIS 6, IIS 7) show duplicate service extensions.

The problem occurs from time to time and the reason has not been determined yet.

To apply a workaround, you first need to determine the ID of the service for which extensions were duplicated. A service ID is shown in the address bar when inspecting service properties.
For example the following address indicates that a service has the ID 26:
Once you know the service ID, apply the workaround:
1.      Back up Parallels Helm CP database.
2.      Open the attached SQL script.
3.      Specify the correct name of Helm’s database (as seen in ConfigurationTool) and the ID of the service.
4.      Execute the script.
5.      Restart all Parallels Helm services and launch the refresh procedure from Control Panel.
