The number of skinXXX_YYY directories depends on the amount of the service packages used on the machine while XXX is the ID of reseller and YYY is the ID of service package. It enables customizing the GUI per service package and reseller.

Usually, customization is done on the environment before the creation of VDSs. When new skins directories are being created, the content of the base skin directory is being copied to them. Therefore, editing the base skin affects only skins that will be created in the future, and does not affect existing skins directories.

At the environment, where skinXXX_YYY directories already exist, it's necessary to perform the change in every skin directory as well as in the base directory. All the skins directories that will be created in the feature will automatically have this change, since the base skin directory was already changed. Note that you can perform customization on service package basis (every service package may have a different look!).

Note: you do not have to run the GUI Generator after performing changes in the skins -- the changes take effect immediately. GUI Generator should be executed only after performing changes in the source directory.
