When you attempt to publish from a Linux server to a server running a Windows-based operating system you may get an error similar to this one: The destination Web ignores case. The following pairs of names will conflict: restore.gif and Restore.gif

This error occurs as Linux is a case sensitive operating system and Windows operating systems are not case sensitive,

To resolve this problem you will have to rename one of the files mentioned in the error message, you will not be able to copy two files with the same name but different case to the same location on a windows machine.
