How to disable logs from being written into /var/log/messages?

It is possible to disable the messages of SD to the log - /var/log/messages.
Open the hostdir.xml file and look for the value of the property "log_target".
For example:

Once you have the value, edit syslog.cong (/etc/syslog.conf) and add the following under the line:
# Don't log private authentication messages!
*.info;mail.none;authpriv.none;cron.none;local6.none /var/log/messages (add: local6.none)

Each Server might have a different value (it is not always "local6")
