I have 2 SQL Server instances on the same machine. One is SQL 7 and the other is SQL 2000. I have setup separate services for each, but Helm is creating all new databases under the SQL 7 instance. Is there some way I can specify the instance?
Unfortunately there is no way for Helm to add databases on multiple instances of SQL. It will only create them on the "Default Instance" of SQL.
The only way around it would be to have SQL installed on two seperate machines (which would require an additional server license). On each machine you would then setup the respective SQL versions as "Default Instances".
