Problem / Summary
When adding a domain in Helm the process fails with the following error in the error log
2004-07-23 11:40:36 CDomain.AddDomainEx Unknown error while creating site: Automation error
The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.

In addtion whenever an action is performed directly in IIS a similiar error may occur.
It is likely that you have another program running on the server using port 80. By default when IIS starts it attempts to bind to port 80 on all IP's on the server. To run another program on port 80 on the same server as IIS you need to Disable Socket Pooling and bind the relevant IP's to IIS. The following Microsoft KB articles provide details on how to do this.
