check_hostname failure when installing WEBppliance Pro 3.5.1

check_hostname failure when installing WEBppliance Pro 3.5.1

The webppliance-prolog RPM pre-install scripts failed (due to an invalid /etc/hosts), which caused certain files to not be upgraded. To verify that other upgrades will be successful before starting, please run

and then make sure there is a

"WEBppliance preinstall check finished successfully"

message at the end of the /var/log/appliance/setup.log. You may ignore the "This is not a RedHat 7.1 machine" message in the logs. Make sure "hostname -i" returns the IP address of your server and not or unknown hostname.

If others find that this error is occuring for them, here are the steps that should be followed:

1. Using 'rpm -q webppliance-prolog', verify that webppliance-prolog is still at version 3.5.0-48
2. rpm -Uvh webppliance-prolog-3.5.1-5.i386.rpm
3. /usr/local/sbin/set_post_maintenance
4. /etc/rc.d/init.d/webppliance restart
