Symptoms
Attempt to import ConfSync PA_Configuration_DATE.xml file fails with the error message:
"Configuration file has BM Version "bm7_3_000_1022" specified, but currently installed version is "bm7_3_000_995". Importing from installation with incompatible BM version could possibly lead to unstable import. If you still wish to proceed, please set BM version in configuration file to "bm7_3_000_995"."
Cause
There are 2 environments which were upgraded in different times. So, currently OA build version is oa-7.3-1240 on both of them, however, bm build differs:
Production - has version bm7_3_000_995 Staging - has version bm7_3_000_1022
Build was respined between upgrades. So, currently there are 2 environments with inconsistency between packages.
The issue is caused by Software related issue with ID #FND-4504: "ConfSync does not work with different major versions of the BM package".
Resolution
Please contact your Technical Account Manager or Pooled Technical Associate to clarify status of the sotware-related issue.
It is also possible to use Workaround mentioned in error message: Change value for PBAVersion from "bm7_3_000_1022" to bm7_3_000_995 in XML file
