Symptoms

  1. Unable to change Price Configuration and Retail Markups under Provider Control Panel > Applications > Azure > Instance > Price Configuration. The following message is displayed on Price Configuration:

    "You are not a partner in this application instance. You cannot change price configurations."

  2. The following message is displayed on Partner tab:

    "A Partner scenario is activated in this application instance for one of your Resellers. You cannot subscribe Resellers and change Partner's Configuration in it."

Cause

Partner relationship is configured not with a provider but with a reseller.

Resolution

Reseller should manage price configurations from Reseller Control Panel > Applications > Azure Partner

  1. Go to Provider Control Panel > Applications > Azure > Instance > Partner and check partner name. For example, Partner ltd (1000001) where 1000001 is Reseller ID in OA.

  2. Switch to Reseller Control Panel of 1000001 and check if Azure Partner tab does present there.

  3. If there is no such tab check that option APS placeholders is enabled in Provider panel under System > Settings > System Properties > General > APS placeholders

  4. Reseller should also have an active Azure CSP Partner subscription.
