Office 365: 'Unknown error' occurs in attempt to use weak password during service assignment.

Symptoms

In attempt to assign Office 365 service on user with weak password from the UX1 > Office 365 tab, the following error appears:

 Unknown error

Cause

Incorrect error handling on the application level. The issue was acknowledged as #APSA-20633.

Resolution

Contact your Technical Account Manager or Pooled Technical Associates to trace the status of the issue.
