Symptoms
- Go Home > Products > Online Store
- Click on Switch Store button
- Click Import Store, specify a Store package and click Save
The following error is thrown:
UTF8 decoding error: U_INVALID_CHAR_FOUND
Cause
The issue is caused by #PBA-86261 "Online Store import fails with UTF8 decoding error: U_INVALID_CHAR_FOUND" and occurs if Online Store screen description contains a non-ASCII character followed by a new line, for instance:

Please contact your Technical Account Manager or a member of Pooled Technical Associates Team to clarify status of the software-related issue. As a workaround, please, adjust the Online Store screens description to avoid the condition described above.
