Does OBAS support features required for upcoming GDPR?
It is possible to configure OBAS to be GDPR-compliant. The following instructions should be done:
- If OBAS upgrade is not possible, refer the following KB article for the previous OBAS versions.
- In case of CP and/or Online Store templates customization instructions below may not take effect. Please refer the following KB article.
- The upcoming 4.5.8 OBAS version will be GDPR compliant out of the box.
Attention: Before applying hotfixes it is strictly recommended to backup OBAS MN and OBAS Database server.
Perform the steps below:
Download attached RPM packages:hspc-i18n-en-4.5.7-54.swsoft.x86_64 , hspc-root-4.5.7-54.swsoft.x86_64, hspc-skin-panel-theme-4.5.7-54.swsoft.x86_64, hspc-skin-winxp-4.5.7-54.swsoft.x86_64 and hspc-store-4.5.7-54.swsoft.x86_64.
Install downloaded RPM packages:
# rpm -Uhv hspc-i18n-en-4.5.7-54.swsoft.x86_64.rpm hspc-root-4.5.7-54.swsoft.x86_64.rpm hspc-skin-panel-theme-4.5.7-54.swsoft.x86_64.rpm hspc-skin-winxp-4.5.7-54.swsoft.x86_64.rpm hspc-store-4.5.7-54.swsoft.x86_64.rpm
# hspc-upgrade-manager --finish
hspc-upgrade-manager --finishwill cause OBAS downtime for several minutes.
- Open file
/var/opt/hspc-root/data/Privacy-Statement.htmland place your Privacy Statement into it.

Tools for account data export and for personal data anonymization are available by request to Odin Technical Support and will be included in OBAS 4.5.8 release.
