Symptoms
After migration of a website via LSH migration procedure, content from httpsdocs
was no longer served when accessing the site via https
, but instead all requests were served by httpdocs
location.
The target service template has 'Separate HTTP/HTTPS directories' set to 'Yes', the source is set to No
.
Cause
'Separate HTTP/HTTPS directories' setting does not play the role in case of Legacy Apache hosting and these directories are always separated:
Creating 'Shared Hosting Apache' Resource Type
This setting is set to 0
for all LSH subscriptions before migration and all of them are migrated with this setting untouched. Therefore, https
content is served from httpdocs
directory after migration, according to how 'Separate HTTP/HTTPS directories' is set for subscriptions.
Resolution
This issue is recognized as #OAM-3087: After migration parameter "Separate HTTP/HTTPS directories" set incorrectly" and fixed in -21 version of lshng-migration-1.0-21.tar.gz.
Please re-download migration tools and proceed with migration. No additional steps are required, directories are handled automatically.
For the already migrated websites, please contact Odin Technical Support.
