Symptoms
Renewal orders for the .de domains registered with php-based InternetX fail with error message:
Domain renewal request declined by registrar. Domain could not be renewed.; The registry does not support this operation. (EF0072003) Domain Status:Registered
Cause
InternetX renews the .de domain automatically, manual requests are not supported by the registrar. There is a bug with id #POA-114159 ("InternetX ".de" domains renewal") that OA sends such requests and marks orders as Provisioning Failed.
Resolution
The workaround for the issue is set .de renewals to be done manually:
1) Go to Billing > System > Settings > Domains
2) Select a PEM Registrar > Registrar Features
3) Find "de" tld in the list and click Edit
4) Set the "Supports Renewal" option to Manual and save.
The renewal order generated for .de domains will be marked as "MO" ("Require Manual Operation") and will need explicit provider's staff approval to be marked as completed.
