There is a discrepancy in representation of TXT records for domains - some TXT records are represented with quotation marks:

TXT "v=spf1 ~all"

And the others are represented without:

TXT testrecord

Both TXT records have been provisioned properly and contain quotation marks on DNS servers.

This behaviour is caused by the difference in UI representation between versions of Odin Automation:

  • In Odin Automation 6.0.9 and below, TXT records are represented with quotation marks.
  • In Odin Automation 7.0 and higher, TXT records are represented without quotation marks.

TXT records with quotation marks were created before the upgrade to Odin Automation 7.0.

Even though the records are fully functional, their appearance can be changed by their removal and adding back.
