During precheck the following errors are displayed for one of OA managed hosts:

error message: Failed to ping host ns1.provider.local (4): ['/usr/local/pem/bin/pleskd_ctl', '-f', '/usr/local/pem/etc/pleskd.props', 'ping', '4'] exited with non-zero status 1
[ERROR] exited with non-zero status 1, stderr: <urlopen error EOF occurred in violation of protocol (_ssl.c:579)>, stdout: None
[ERROR] Precheck error: URL is expected to be available

Connectivity to host was checked, no issues found. pa-agent service on host is running, port 8352 is confirmed to be accepting connections via telnet. Restart of pa-agent service did not fix the situation.

During previous major upgrade pa-agent package was not updated on the slave host. Due to protocol changes version 7.0.1 of agent is incompatible with 7.1 protocols:

# rpm -qa | grep pa-agent

Define the latest version of pa-agent package on OA Management node:

# ls -1 /usr/local/pem/install/tarballs/corerpms/RHEL*/pa-agent*

Download compatible version and upgrade the package:

# wget http://${OA MN IP}/tarballs/corerpms/RHEL7/pa-agent-7.1.1-1.x86_64.rpm
# yum update ./pa-agent-7.1.1-2.x86_64.rpm
# service pa-agent restart
